Environmental Policy

Focused Nutrition is committed to sustainable activities where possible.
We subscribe to the climate change levy system and office lighting is provided on demand in response to necessity.
The company heats its offices using only occasional heating where necessary.
Water is metered to assess and measure usage, no water or liquid effluent is discharged into water courses either directly or indirectly.
Relatively little waste is generated and a refuse disposal contractor has been appointed.

In 2008 Focused Nutrition will focus on reducing waste and developing of staff colleague opportunities we will;
· Separate paper waste from the office so that it can be sent for recycling
· Reduce the use of office paper
· Reduce the amount of food waste generated
· Encourage consumers to reduce waste and recycle

In 2009 Focused Nutrition began a separated paper waste system, so that it can be sent for recycling as we continued to be focused on improvements in the areas of packaging, transport, and other processes.

Every year we set ourselves certain aims to reduce the impact we make on the environment and to follow our core beliefs. Here is a summary of the targets for 2011.
